The SPY is right on the volume weighted average price that started on triple witching three months ago.
PRE-OPEN MARKET COMMENTS FRIDAY – The market is right where it started the quarter and it is sitting right on AVWAPQ.
Triple witching has run its course. Japan was up a little after raising interest rates 25 basis points to .75%. This could have future implications on the yen-carry trade. Other markets were flat overnight.
We will see some chop back and forth similar to the price action yesterday. Christmas is right in the middle of the week so the action from this point forward will not be good.
Support is at the 50-day MA and resistance is at $681.
