Top 20 Equity Options Traded
in November 2024

It was a November to remember! With the 2024 presidential election decided and Donald Trump returning to the oval office in January, the markets have made some strong statements. Bitcoin prices shoot for the moon as the Trump administration is expected to be positive on crypto. This rising tide lifts the stock of Coinbase (COIN) and Marathon Digital (MARA) as well as MicroStrategy (MSTR) which has long been bullish on BTC.
All major indices saw material increases in the month with the Dow up +7.55% the Nasdaq up +6.21% and the S&P 500 up +5.74%. Not to be outdone, the small cap Russell 2000 gained +11.2% in November anticipating a pro-business attitude over the next 4 years.
There are however concerns of the Trump administration tariffs creating an inflationary environment and reversing the positive trend of the last year. All eyes will be on the Fed as the markets have priced in a rate cut of 25 basis points in December.

Nvidia and Tesla continue their stranglehold on the #1 and #2 spots in the Top 20 in November. Tesla rockets higher in November as CEO Elon Musk is the new bestie with Trump. Trump’s social media company (DJT) had a huge increase in volume and volatility but seriously underperformed on price in November. Robinhood beats expectations and continues to have a strong performance in the later part of 2024. The Motly Fool as called Hims & Hers Health (HIMS) a “healthcare company on fire” related to their stock performance. Will it continue or are they flying too close to the sun?
