U.S. stock futures are looking slightly lower after slipping on Thursday, as market focus remains on the monthly jobs report at 8:30 AM ET. Treasury yields are also little changed around the 1.61% level for the 10-year, trading in a narrow range over the last week while oil prices tick higher and gold prices unchanged around the $1.870 an ounce level. In Asian markets, The Nikkei Index fell -116 points to 28,941, the Shanghai Index rose 7 points to 3,591 and the Hang Seng Index dipped -47 points to 28,918. In Europe, the German DAX is lower by about 10 points to 15,625, while the FTSE 100 drops around 20 points to 7,045. News flow is quiet ahead of the jobs report where expectations that the U.S. economy added 650K jobs and the unemployment rate to come in at 5.9%. Shares of so called “meme” stocks active again as AMC shares fall and Bitcoin prices drop back under $37K following another cryptic tweet from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
